= 3a+7+2(3+a)

= 3a+7+6+2a

= 5a+13

Explanation :

- First, We need to open the bracket.

- After opening the bracket, it will be 3a+7+2×3+2×a

- After multiplying, 3a+7+6+2a

- Now, we'll add the terms with variable and the ones without variable. Which makes it, (3a+2a)+(7+6)

= 5a+13
