Hydrogen is the limiting agent.

2g H2 + 1g O2 gives 2g H2O

..therefore 3g H2 requires 1.5 g of O2... Nd 29g O2 combines with 58 grams of H2

but only 3 grams hydrogen is available here and hence hydrogen is the limiting agent
