Let the cost of 1 kg sugar be x and the cost of 1 kg rice be y.

3x+7y= 550              Eq 1-----*7

7x+3y=635               Eq 2-----*3

Subtracting Eq 1 - Eq2

21x+49y=3850

21x+9y=1905

y= 48.625 Rs.

3x+7y = 550

3x + 340.375 = 550
