Heya !!!

3M/6 + 4 = 17/4

LHS = 3M/6 + 4

Taking LCM of the denominator of two fraction 3m/6 and 4/1

6 = 3 × 2

1 = 1

LCM = 6

3M/6 + 4

3M + 24
-----------
****6

Now,

LHS = RHS

3M + 24
----------- = 17/4
6

By cross multiplication method,

=> 4 ( 3M + 24 ) = 17 × 6

=> 12M + 96 = 102

=> 12M = 102-96

=> 12M = 6

=> M = 6/12 = 1/2
