Hii ☺ !!

3m² + 2m - 7 = 0

Here,

a = 3 , b = 2 and c = -7

Therefore,

Discriminant ( D ) = b² - 4ac

Discriminant ( D ) = (2)² - 4 × 3 × -7

Discriminant ( D ) = 88

So,

√D = √88 = √2×2 × 2 ×11 = 2√22 .

Therefore,

Roots of the given quadratic equation = -b + √d / 2a or - b - √d / 2a

=> -2 + 2√22 / 2•3 , -2 - 2√22/2•3

=> -2+ 2√22 / 6 , - 2- 2√22/6

=> -2 ( 1 - √22 / 6 ) , - 2 ( 1 + √22 ) / 6

=> 1 - √22/3 , 1 + √22 /3.

Hence,

( 1 - √22/3) and ( 1 + √22/3) are the two zeroes of the given quadratic equation.

a=3,b=2,c=-7
now put value in formula
(i)x=(-2+root -88)/6
=(-2+2 root 22)/6
=(-1 +root 22)/3
similarly _

(ii)x=(-1-root 22)/3
