 {3n}^{2} - 11n - 874
a = 3 ; b = -11 ; c = -874

D= {B}^{2} - 4AC

 = ( { - 11})^{2} - 4 \times 3 \times ( - 874)
 = 121 + 10488
 = 10609
D >= 0

So...

Given equation has real roots.
