ANSWER

To find, rational no. between two rational no.s

we should add a and b and divide it by 2

a = -3 b = -4

Rational number between -3 and -4

= {-3 + (-4)}/ 2

= -7/2

a = -7/2 b = -4

Rational no. between -7/2 and -4

= {-7/2 + (-4)}/2

= -15/4

a = -15/4 b = -4

Rational no between -15/4 and -4

= {-15/4 + (-4)}/2

= -31/8

So, three rational no.s between -3 and -4 are

-7/2, -15/4, -31/8

In this way you can find infinite no.s of rational no. between two no.s.

Answer:

there are infinite rational and irrational number between any number

Step-by-step explanation:

first let a =-3 and b= -4

then,

(a)+ (b) ÷2

so,( -3 ) + ( -4 ) by 2

-7 by 2= -3.5

second let a= -3 and b= 3.5

then,

-6.5 by 2 = -3.25

third let a= -3.5 and b=-4

then,

-7.5 by 2 = -3.75

all together,

-3.5 , -3.25 and -3.75

so, these are rational numbers between them
