3sinx=5siny

sinx/siny=5/3

now use the property of componendo-dividendo

(sinx+siny)/(sinx-siny) = (5+3) /(5-3)

[2sin{(x+y) /2}{cos(x-y) /2}]/[2cos{(x+y) /2}{sin(x-y) /2}] = 4

HENCE,

[tan{(x+y)/2}]/[tan{(x-y) /2}] = 4
