● Que. ( 3x + 1 ) / 16 + ( 2x - 3 ) / 7 = ( x + 3 ) / 8 + ( 3x - 1 )

1) = On solving L.H.S. ===>

□ ( 3x + 1 ) /16 + ( 2x - 3 ) / 7

On taking L.C.M. we get ,

==>( 21x + 7 + 32x - 48 ) /112

==>( 53 x - 41 ) /112

2) = On solving R.H.S. we get

( 3x - 1 ) / 8 + ( 3x - 1 ) / 14

□ On taking L.C.M. we get

==>( 7x + 21 + 12x - 4 ) / 56

==>( 19x + 17 ) / 56

☆ According to question :-

( 53x - 41 ) / 112 = ( 19x + 17 ) / 56

On solving :-

==>( 53x - 41 ) / 2 = ( 19x + 17 )

[ both sides are divided by 56 ]

==>( 53x - 41 ) = ( 38x + 34 )

{ R.H.S. multiply by 5 }

15x = 75

● x = 5
