 - 3x = 9 -  \frac{1}{7}

 - 3x =  \frac{9}{1}  -  \frac{1}{7}

 - 3x =  \frac{63 - 1}{7}

 - 3x \times 7 = 62

 - 21x = 62

x =  \frac{62}{ - 21}

x =  - 2.952
