3x+2/11=x+5/8. Find the value of x:-

taking LCM on both sides

33x+2/11 = 8x+5/8

8(33x+2)=11(8x+5)

264x+16=88x+55

264x-88x=55-16

176x=39

x = 39/176

x=0.221
