\large\sf\red{\underline{\underline{Question:}}}

  • \dfrac{3x+2}{2x-3}=-\dfrac{3}{2} Find the value of x.

\large\sf\red{\underline{\underline{Solution:}}}

\longmapsto\dfrac{3x+2}{2x-3}=-\dfrac{3}{2}

Cross -Multiplying:

\dashrightarrow\sf 2(3x-2)=-3(2x-3)

\dashrightarrow\sf 6x-4=-6x+9

Adding 6x on both sides :

 \dashrightarrow \sf 6x + \green{6x} -4= \cancel{-6x}+ \cancel{\green{6x}} + 9

\dashrightarrow\sf 12x-4=9

Adding 4 on both sides :

\dashrightarrow\sf 12x\cancel{-4}+\cancel{\green{4}} =9 +\green{4}

\dashrightarrow\sf 12x=13

• Dividing both sides by 12:

\dashrightarrow\sf\dfrac{12x}{\green{12}}=\dfrac{13}{\green{12}}

\dashrightarrow\sf x =\dfrac{13}{12}

Therefore,

  • Value of x is 13/12.
