( 3x + 2 )/2 = 2x + 1

By Cross Multiplication,

3x + 2 = 3(2x + 1)

3x + 2 = 6x + 1

2 - 1 = 6x - 3x

-1 = 3x

-1/3 = x

Heya !!!

3X+2/3 = 2X + 1

Using cross multiplication method,

3X + 2 = 3 ( 2X + 1 )

3X + 2 = 6X + 3

6X - 3X = 2-3

3X = -1

X = -1/3
