\frac{3x + 2}{4} = \frac{x - 1}{3} \\ \\ 3(3x + 2) = 4(x - 1) \\ 9x + 6 = 4x - 4 \\ 9x - 4x = - 4 - 6 \\ 5x = - 10 \\ x = \frac{ - 10}{5} \\ \\ x = - 2
