Answer:

3X/2 -5Y/3 = -2

=>3(3X/2) - 3(5Y/3) = 3(-2)

=>9X/2 -5Y = -6

=>9X/2 = -6+5Y

=>9X =2(-6+5Y)

=>9X = -12+10Y

=>X = (-12+10Y)/9-------(1)

X/3 + Y/2 = 13/6

=>(-12+10Y)/27 + Y/2 = 13/6

=>-24+20Y+27Y=(13/6)54

=>47Y = 24+117

=>47Y = 141

=>Y = 3--------(2)

from eqn 1

X = (-12+10(3))/9

=>X = (-12+30)/9

=>X = 18/9 = 2.

So, X = 2 and Y = 3.
