____________

____

x = 5

y = -20

_____

______________

step-by-step explanation:

We can solve pair of linear equations in many ways.

one way is substituting the value of one variable wrt other in the equation.

so,

for substitution method,

Given,

3x + 2 y + 25 = 0 ............(i)

2x+y+10 = 0

=> y = -(10+2x) ..............(ii)

Now,

substituting the value of y from eqn (ii) in eqn (i),

we get,

=> 3x -2(10+2x) = -25

=> 3x - 20 -4x = -25

=> -x = -5

=> x = 5

Now,

putting the value of x in eqn (ii),

we get,

=> y = -(10+10)

=> y = -20

Hence,

x = 5

y = -20
