Answer:

Explanation:

Given equations are

   3x+2y=10

   12x+8y=30

from equation 3x + 2y = 10

                              2y = 10 - 3x

                               ⇒y = (10 - 3x)/2

                              ⇒ y = 5 - 3x/2

Now take the equation

                                   12x + 8y = 30

   now substitute y = 5 -3x/2 in the above equation.

                        12x + 8y = 30

                      ⇒ 12x + 8(5 - 3x/2) = 30

                        ⇒  12x + 40 - 12x = 30

                           ⇒ 40 = 30

but 40 = 30 is not possible. It is a system of inconsistent and parallel lines . Therefore the system of given equations wont have any solution.
