Answer:

  • pls mark me brainliest
  • if u are satisfied
  • feel me like ur friend that is enough

Step-by-step explanation:

  • given,
  • 2x +7y= 39...(i)
  • 3x+5y=31....(ii)
  • now considering i
  • 2x+7y=39
  • 2x=39-7y
  • x=39/2 -7/2y.....(iii)
  • returning the value of x in ii
  • 3[(39/2)-(7/2)y]+5y=31
  • (117/2)-(21/2)y+5y=31
  • (117/2)-31=(21/2)y-5y
  • 55/2=(11/2)y
  • cancelling 2 both side
  • 55=11y
  • y=55/11=5
  • from iii,
  • x=(39/2)-(7/2)y
  • x=(39/2)-(7/2)5
  • x=(39-35)/2
  • x=4/2=2
  • so your answer is x=2,y=5
  • hope u understand
