3x + 2y = 12 \\ \to \: x = \frac{12 - 2y}{3} \\ 2x + 3y = 13 \\ \to2( \frac{12 - 2y}{3} ) + 3y = 13 \\ \to24 - 4y + 9y = 39 \\ \to5y = 15 \\ \to \: y = 3 \\ \therefore \: \: \: \: x = \frac{12 - 2 \times 3}{3} \\ = \frac{12 - 6}{3} \\ = \frac{6}{3} \\ = 2
