3x + 2y = - 25 ------( 1 )

-2x - y = 10 ------( 2 )

... multiply equation 2 by 2 from both sides

-4x - 2y = 20 -------( 3 )

Therefore..., add equation 3 & 2

-4x - 2y = 20

+3x + 2y = -25

x = 5

substitute ' x = 5 ' in equation 1

we get ,

3 × 5 + 2y = - 25

15 + 2y = -25

2y = -25 - 15

2y = -10

y = -10

____

y = - 5

therefore .., ( x , y ) = ( 5 , -5 )
