Rearranging these equations we get,

8x−3y=12 .....(1)

5x−2y=7 ......(2)

Multiply (1) by 2 and by 3 on subtracting we get

16x−6y=24

15x−6y=21

-         +      -  / x  − 0=  3

x = 3

putting x=3 in (1) we get

8(3)−3y=12

24−3y=12

−3y=12−24

−3y=−12

y=−12/−3

y=4

hence x=3,y=4
