Answer:

==> 3x + 2y = 4...............[1]

==> 2x - 3y = 7................[2]

From eq(1) we get,

==> y = 4 - 3x/2............[3]

Now by substituting eq(3) in eq(2) we get,

2x -3y = 7

==> 2x - 3[(4 - 3x)/2] = 7

==> 2x + (- 12 + 9x)/2 = 7

==> (4x -12 + 9x)/ 2 = 7

==> 4x - 12 + 9x = 7 X 2

==> 13x - 12 = 14

==> 13x = 14 + 12

==> 13x = 26

==> x = 2

Now by substituting x = 2 in eq (1) we get,

==> 3x + 2y = 4

==> 3(2) + 2y = 4

==> 6 + 2y = 4

==> 2y = 4 - 6

==> 2y = -2

==> y = (-1)

Thus, x = 2 and y = (-1) .

Hope it helps you
