The given question is 3x+2y-5=0 and x-3y-9=0.

we have to solve these 2 equations by substitution method.

3x+2y=5-------1

x-3y=9-----------2

equation 2 can be written as

x=9+3y---------3

sub equation 3 in equation 1

3(9 + 3y) + 2y = 5 \\ 27 + 9y + 2y = 5 \\ 27 + 11y = 5 \\ 11y = 5 - 27 \\ 11y =  - 22 \\ y =  \frac{ - 22}{11}   \\ y =  - 2

substitute y in equation 3 to get x

x =  9+ 3y \\ x = 9 + 3( - 2) \\   x = 9 - 6 \\ x = 3

Therefore the values of x and y is 3 and -2
