Answer:

3x+2y= 5------> 1

2x-3y=12------->2

1 * 2----->6x+4y=10

2*3------->6x-9y=36

subtracting 13y= -26

y=-26/13

y=-2

3x-4=5

x=3

ans:x=3

y=-2

Explanation:

3x + 2y = 5. -----equation(1) 2x - 3y = 12-----equation(2)

multiplying equation (1) with 2

6x + 4y = 10

multiplying equation (2) by 3

6x - 9y = 36

by elimination method

6x + 4y = 10

- 6x - 9y = 36

-. +. -

___________________

13y = -26

y = -2

putting value of y in equation (1)

3x + 2y = 10

3x + 2( -2 ). = 10

3x - 4 = 10

3x = 14

X = 14/3

therefore X = 14/3. Y = -2
