3x-2y=6 =2x+3y=17 find the x/y

2x+3y=17 --------2

Multiply 2 to equation 1
And 3 to equation 2
6x-6y=12
6x+6y=51
+
12x=63
X=5.25
6x-6y=12
6(5.25)-6y=12
31.5-6y=12
6y=31.5-12
6y=19.5
y=3.25
x/y=5.25/3.25=1.6
