this equation can be solved by the multiplying and subtraction method or by substitution method.
in here I am showing you the multiplying and subtraction method.
for solving the equations, multiply equation 1 by 2 and equation 2 by 3, then by substraction method, we
6x+4y=12
6x-9y=51
-_+__-___
13y=39
y=39/13=3
...
now by putting the value of Y in equation 1
we get,
3x+2×3=12
3x=12-6
x=6/3=2
so the values of x and y are 2 and 3 respectively.
