Heya !!

3X - 2Y - 7 = 0 ----------(1)

And,

6X + KY = 11

6X + KY - 11 = 0 -----------(2)

These equations are of the form A1X+ B1Y + C1 and A2X + B2Y + C2.

Where,

A1 = 3 , B1 = -2 and C1 = -7

And,

A2 = 6 , B2 = K and C2 = -11

Therefore,

A1/A2 = 3/6 = 1/2 , B1/B2 = -2/K and C1/C2 = 7/11.

For unique solution , we must have

A1/A2 # B1/B2 [ Where # stands for not equal]

1/2 # -2/K

K # - 4

Hence,

K has all real values , other than -4.
