Step-by-step explanation:

(3x+2y = 7) × 3

(4x - 3y = -2 ) × 2

9x + 6y = 21

8x - 6y = -4

17x = 17

x = 17/17

x = 1

Putting the value of x in eq (ii)

4x-3y= -2

4×1 -3y = -2

4-3y = -2

-3y = -2-4

-3y = -6

3y = 6

y = 6/3

y = 2

x = 1

y = 2
