Step-by-step explanation:

Solving it by Elimination method

3x+2y=9..equation 1

5x-y=2.....equation 2

Multiplying equation 2 by (2)

therefore we get 10x-2y = 4

Now, adding both the equation

3x+2y=9

+10x-2y = 4

---------------------

13x = 13

hence x= 1

Now substituting value of x in equation 1 to get value of y

3(1)+2y = 9

hence we get y = 3

Answer :- HENCE X = 1 AND Y = 3

Answer:

3x+2y=9

2y=9-3x

y=(9-3x)/2_______(i)

5x-y=2

5x-(9-3x)/2=2

10x-9-3x=2×2

7x-9=4

7x=4+9

x=13/7

Substitute the value of x in 3x+2y=9

(3×13)/7+2y=9

(39+14y)/7=9

39+14y=63

14y=63-39

14y=4

y=4/14

y=2/7

x=13/7

y=2/7
