According to the question :

 \frac{ {4}^{2} }{ {5}^{2} }  =  \frac{3x + 4}{4x + 9}  \\  \\  =>  \frac{16}{25}  =  \frac{3x + 4}{4x + 9}

=> 16( 4x + 9 ) = 25( 3x + 4 )

=> 64x + 144 = 75x + 100

=> 44 = 11x

=> 4 = x

Hi dear

★ Here is your answer ★

3x+4 : 4x + 9 = 16 : 25

25 ( 3x + 4 ) = 16 ( 4x + 9)

75x + 100 = 64x + 144

75x - 64x = 144 - 100

11x = 44

x = 44/11

x = 4.

Hope it helps you ^_^
