3x - 4 - x - 1 / 3x - 4+ x + 1 = 61 / 178

2x - 5 / 4x - 3 = 61 / 178

178(2x-5) = 61(4x-3)

356x - 890 = 244x - 183

356x - 244x = 890-183

112x = 707

x = 707/112

x = 6.3125
