4x + 3y = 12

4( \frac{11}{7} ) + 3y = 12

  \frac{44}{7}  + 3y = 12

  \frac{44}{7}  = 6.28

6.28 + 3y = 12

3y = 12 - 6.28

3y = 5.72

y =  \frac{5.72}{3}

y = 1.90
