Step-by-step explanation:

multiply the both equations by 2 and 3.

2(3x+4y = 10 ) = 6x + 8y = 20 ------(i)

3( 2x - 2y = 2 ) = 6x - 6y = 6 ------(ii)

A.T.Q

6x + 8y = 20 \\ 6x - 6y = 6 \\ - \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: +   \:  \:    \:  \:  \:  \:  -  \\ 0  + 14y = 14 \\ y =  \frac{14}{14} \\ y = 1 \\

Now , put the value of y in eq. (ii)

6x - 6y = 6

6x - 6 (1) = 6

6x = 6 + 6

6x = 12

x = 12/6

x = 2 ans.
