3x +4y =10
2x - 2y =2
2x =2 +2y
x = 2 +2y/2

3×2+2y/2 +4y =10
6 +6y/2 +4y =10
6+ 6y +8y/2 =10
14y +6 =20
14y = 20-6
14y = 14
y =14/14
y =1

2x - 2×1 =2
2x - 2 =2
2x =2+2
2x =4
x =4/2
x =2

The value of x is 2 and value of y is 1

Given:

Two equations 3x+4y=10,2x-2y=2

To Find:

The value of x and y

Solution:

3x+4y=10

4y = 10-3x

y = 10/4-3x/4

Put ithe value of y in equation 2x-2y=2

2x- 10/2+3x/2=2

4x-10+3x=4

7x=14

x=2

put the value of x in equation y = 10/4-3x/4

y = 1

Hence, the value of x is 2 and the value of y is 1.
