3x+4y=10,3x-2y=2 is a linear equation

now

3x+4y=10 equation 1

3x-2y=2 equation 2 now multiply the equation 2 with 2 multiple we get

6x-4y =4

then

3x+4y=10

6x-4y=4

finally we get

9x=14 then,

x=14/9, now we can substituting in equations 1 we get

3(14/9)+4y=10 then

4y=10-14/3 ,

y=4/3 then

finally we get

x=14/9 and y=4/3
