2x−2y=2........(2)

2x=2+2y

x=2+2y/2....... (3)

Substitute eq.3 in eq.1

3 (2+2y/2)+4y= -10

6+6y/2 +4y= -10

6+6y+8y /2= -10

6+14y= -20

14y = -20-6

14y= -26

y= -26/14

☆y= -13/7☆
