3x+4y=11 ..... (1)

4x+3y=10 ..... (2)

(1) × 3 ==> 9x + 12y = 33 ..... (3)

(2) × 4 ==> 16x + 12y = 40 ..... (4)

(4) - (3) ==> 7x = 7

==> x = 1

Putting x = 1 in (1), we get

3 + 4y = 11

4y = 11 - 3 = 8

==> y = 2
