3x-4y=11 Equation 1

or,3x=11+4y

or,x=11+4y/3 Equation 2

Now,

         7x-5y=4

        or, 7(11+47/3)-5y=4   From equation 2

        or,77+28y/3-5y=4

       or,77+28y-15y/3=4

       or,77+13y=12

       or, 13y=12-77

       or,  y=-5

putting the value of y in Equation 1

3x-4*-5=11

or,3x+20=11

or,3x=-9

or,x=-3

∴ the value of x=-3 and y=-5
