y = 2 substitute in eq(1)

3x -4(2) =16

3x-8=16

3x=16+8

3x = 24

x=24/3

x= 8

Answer:

3x-4y=16

2x-3y=10

3x-4y(2x-3y)=16-10

3x-4y-2x-3y=6

x-7y=6

x=6+7y

6+7y-7y=6

y=1

x=6+7*1

X=13
