xy=4
x=4/y
put in equation
3×4/y-4y=16
12/y-4y=16
12/y=16+4y
12=y{16+4y}
12=16y+4y^2
divide by 4
3=4+y^2
-4+3=y^2
-1=y^2
y=1
xy=4
x=4/y
put in equation
3×4/y-4y=16
12/y-4y=16
12/y=16+4y
12=y{16+4y}
12=16y+4y^2
divide by 4
3=4+y^2
-4+3=y^2
-1=y^2
