Answer:

3x+4y=31

5x-3y=13

multiply eq i by 3

so eq will be 9x+12y=93

multiply eq ii by 4

20x-12y=52

by eliminating method

adition

9x+12y=93 eq-----(ii)

20x-12y=52------eq(i)

29x=145

x=145/29

x=5

put the value of x in eq (i)

3(5)+4y=31

15+4y=31

4y=31-15

4y=16

y=16/4

y=4
