Let's solve this,

Given equations -

3X + 4Y - 5Z =12 …..( i )

2X + 5Y - Z = 17 …..( ii )

6X + 2Y -3Z = 17 …..( iii )

Solution-

Eqn (i) - 5 × Eqn (ii)

3X + 4Y - 5Z = 12

-10X - 25Y + 5Z = -85

-7X - 21Y = -73

7X + 21Y = 73 ….. ( iv )

3 × Eqn (ii) - Eqn (iii)

6X + 15Y - 3Z = 51

-6X - 2Y + 3Z = -17

13Y = 34

Y = 34/13

Putting this in eqn (iv)

7X + 21(34/13) = 73

7X = 73 - 714/13

7x = (949 - 714)/13

X = 235/91

Putting these in eqn (ii)

2(235/91) +5(34/13) - Z = 17

Z = 470/91+170/13-17

Z = 1469/1183

Final solution

X = 235/91

Y = 34/13

Z = 1469/1183

Hope it helped …..
