6

Answer:

x = 2, y = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN: 3x+4y=6 ...(1)

2x-y=4 .....(2)

NOW,

3x+4y=6

Or, 3x = 6-4y

Or, x = (6-4y)/3 = 2- 4/3 y

substituting the value of x in eq...(2)

we get;

2(2-4/3 y) - y = 4

Or, 4 - 8/3 y - y = 4

Or, -11/3 y = 4-4 = 0

Or, y = 0

Again substitute the value of y in eq..(2)

we get;

2x -0 = 4

Or, x = 4/2 = 2

hence, x = 2, y = 0

Hope it helps..♡
