3x-5=0

3x=0+5

3x=5

x=5/3

x=1.6 or 3/5

To solve the equation the main step to be take for the solution is to put the constants snd the variables at correct side.

  • First step -5 moves to R.H.S. and had been added as in L.S.H. it's sign was of subtraction.

  • Then the sum of 0 and 5 was 5 as 0 do not contain any value alone.

  • Then the 3 with x moved to R.H.S. and x was left on L.H.S. as it is a variable.

  • On moving 3 was divided on division it gave 1.6

  • 1.6 can also be written as 3/5.

  • Hence the value of x is 3/5

3×3/5-5=0

5-5=0

0=0

L.S.H.=R.H.S.

As 3 and 3 were same numbers so they were cancelled and then 5 was subtracted from 5 and gave 0.

Hence proved.

Hope it helped u buddy..

Thank you..
