\large\bold{To~find~:}

The value of ‛x’ in the equation :

\large\mathtt{~~~~~3x+5+2x+6+x=4x+12}

\large\mathtt{→(3x+2x+x)+(5+6)=4x+12}

\large\mathtt{→6x+11=4x+12}

\large\mathtt{→6x-4x=12-11}

\large\mathtt{→2x=1}

\large\therefore\mathtt{x={\underline{\underline{{\frac{1}{2}}}}}}

\small{ }

The question actually means to find the value of the unknown number ‛x’ and not to find the reason why it is equal to 4x + 12 Hope you understood..
