(3x + 5.5) (3x – 0.5) special products and expansion

Formula Used :

 \tt (x + a)(x - b) =  {x}^{2}  + ax + bx + ab

Here,

x = 3x

a = 5.5

b = 0.5

Solution :

 \sf(x + a)(x + b)

 \sf {x}^{2}  + (a + b)x + ab

 \sf {9x}^{2}  + (5.5 + 0.5)3x + 5.5 \times 0.5

 \rm \: 9 {x}^{2}  + 6 \times 3x + 2.75

 \sf9 {x}^{2}  + 18x + 2.75

 \sf \: So \:  the  \: answer  \: is \:  \boxed{  \: 9 {x}^{2}  + 18x + 2.75}
