[ x - y = -1] × 3

3x - 5y = -1
3x - 3y = -3

=> 2y = -2

=> y = -2/2

=> y = -1


Putting the value of y in x-y = -1

=> x -(-1) = -1

=> x+ 1 = -1

=> x = -1-1

=> x = -2

x = -2
y = -1
