Answer:

Let 3x-5y=-1..... eq 1

x-y= - 1............eq 2

Do eq.. 1- 3eq.. 2

3x-5y= - 1

- 3x+3y=+3

We get - 2y =2

y=-1

Put y value In eq... 1

3x+5=-1

3x=- 6

x= - 2

(x,y)= (-2,-1)

3x-5y =-1 ....…. (i)

x-y=-1 ...… (ii)

Multiply the equation (ii) by 3 , we get

3x-3y=-3 ....(iii)

3x-5y= -1 ...(i)

Subtract equation (i) from equation (iii), we get

2y = -2

y = -1

Substitute the value of y=-1 in equation (ii), we get

x-(-1)= -1

x+1=-1

x= -2
