x=-2+y

Substitute this in first equation

3×(-2+y)-5y=-1

-6+3y-5y=-1

-6-2y=-1

6+2y=1

2y=-5

y=-5/2

Substitute this in second equation

x+5/2=-2

x=-2-5/2y

x=-9/2
