Given,

3x-5y=12 ---------(1)

4x-3y=13 ---------(2)

By Elimination Method

x =  \frac {12-5y} {3} (from equation (1))

Put value of x in (2)

4 ( \frac {12-5y} {3} ) -3y = 13

 \frac {48-20y} {3} -3y = 13

48 - 20y - 9y = 39

-29y = 9

y =  \frac {-9} {29}

and x =  \frac {393} {87}
